National Cancer Survivors Day® is Sunday, June 2! 

On National Cancer Survivors Day® – Sunday, June 2, 2024 – people around the world will unite to recognize cancer survivors, raise awareness of the ongoing challenges cancer survivors face, and – most importantly – celebrate life. 

Check out some of the creative ways these organizations hosting registered National Cancer Survivors Day® events are bringing their communities together for NCSD 2024:

Honoring Cancer Survivors – Corvallis, OR, and Newport, OR
Anyone touched by cancer is invited to join this event in Corvallis, OR, and Newport, OR. Guests will enjoy good food, an arts activity, community cancer resources, talks from Samaritan’s cancer care team and cancer survivors, and more. Advance registration is encouraged here.

Savor the Sweet Life – Douglasville, GA
In Douglasville, GA, survivors are invited for music, games, fun, and an ice cream social to celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day. Learn more about this event here.

Take You Out to the Ball Game! – Syracuse, NY
In Syracuse, NY, on Saturday, June 1st, Upstate Cancer Center wants to take you out to the ballgame at NBT Bank Stadium with the Syracuse Mets! Cancer survivors of all ages are invited to join for an evening of baseball, treats & entertainment. The event is free for cancer survivors and up to two guests. Post-game fireworks to follow. Wonderland Tea Party – Las Cruces, NM

Paulette’s C of Hope – Freehold, NJ
For over a decade, Paulette Stallone has hosted an annual cancer awareness and fundraising event to pay it forward to the place she credits for saving her life when she was diagnosed with stage IV colorectal cancer. Join Hands in the Fight Against Cancer – Randolph, NJ

Bold, Bright & Brave Survivorship – Reno, NV
Join Cancer Community Clubhouse for a fun, family-friendly ’80s celebration honoring local cancer survivors and their families on this special day! Come dressed in your bright ’80s gear and get ready to be entertained by New Wave Crave – the best ’80s band in Reno – while participating in fun activities including hula hoop and Rubik’s Cube contests, a dance demo, ’80s art tables, nonprofit fair, silent auction, and more! Survivorship Sunday – New York, NY
