National Cancer Survivors Day® is Sunday, June 4! 

On National Cancer Survivors Day® – Sunday, June 4, 2023 – people around the world will unite to recognize cancer survivors, raise awareness of the ongoing challenges cancer survivors face, and – most importantly – celebrate life. 

Check out some of the creative ways these organizations hosting registered National Cancer Survivors Day® events are bringing their communities together for NCSD 2023:

Midland, TX – Hope Grows Here
In Midland, TX, Permian Basin Gifts of Hope is holding its 3rd “Hope Grows Here” event. Attendees will be able to enjoy refreshments, music, goodie bags, speakers, and can tie their ribbon on their survivor tree. To connect with Gifts of Hope, follow them on Facebook.

Seneca, SC – Surviving and Thriving
Prisma Health is hosting an event in Seneca, SC, where survivors and their families can celebrate, inspire, and support one another. There will be music, refreshments, dancing, face-painting, yoga, and a special visit from Seth, the comfort dog. Stay connected on Facebook.

Shreveport, LA – An Afternoon of ‘Ohana
Come say Aloha in Shreveport, LA! Willis-Knighton Cancer Center is hosting an event where survivors, caregivers, and family can reconnect with cancer center staff, check out the resource fair, and enjoy fun, food, prizes, and more. RSVP here.

McDonough, GA – Ice Cream Social

Juneau, AK – Take a Waterfront Walk

Huntsville, AL – Jammin’ in the Park

McDonough, GA – Roll Out the Red Carpet
