National Cancer Survivors Day^® is an annual, unforgettable Celebration of Life for anyone who has been affected by cancer. Now in its 36th year, NCSD is one of the largest cancer survivor events in the world.

Held every year on the first Sunday in June, National Cancer Survivors Day^® is a day for everyone to join in solidarity with cancer survivors around the world. On this day, tens of thousands of people will gather in cities across the globe to recognize cancer survivors, raise awareness of the ongoing challenges cancer survivors face because of their disease, and – most importantly – celebrate life.

Tips Planning Your National Cancer Survivors Day^® Celebration

The National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation has everything you need to organize an NCSD celebration in your community. And it’s all available – for free. Here are some tips to help you get started.

• Register your event. Register your NCSD event online here to gain access to the exclusive NCSD Speakers Bureau Roster (which has contact information for nationally recognized celebrities and keynote speakers available for in-person and virtual events), as well as other valuable resources, including copies of Coping^® with Cancer magazine. There is no cost to register, but you must register your event each year to use the copyrighted National Cancer Survivors Day^® name and logo.
• Browse our website for theme ideas. Planning your event around a central theme is a surefire way to make your celebration fun and memorable. Check out our NCSD Themes page, as well as the Survivors Day blog, for a ton of creative NCSD theme ideas.
• Order NCSD t-shirts and keepsakes for the survivors attending your event.
