There’s still time to plan your Survivors Day Celebration

National Cancer Survivors Day® is an annual, unforgettable Celebration of Life for anyone who has been touched by cancer. Now in its 36th year, NCSD is one of the largest cancer survivor events in the world.

Held every year on the first Sunday in June, National Cancer Survivors Day® is a day for everyone to join in solidarity with cancer survivors around the world. On this day, tens of thousands of people will gather in cities across the globe to recognize cancer survivors, raise awareness of the ongoing challenges cancer survivors face, and – most importantly – celebrate life.

You can be a part of it by organizing a National Cancer Survivors Day® event in your city on Sunday, June 4, 2023.

Even though NCSD is a week away, you still have time to plan a celebration to recognize the cancer survivors in your community. The National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation has everything you need to plan and promote your local National Cancer Survivors Day® event.

Be Sure to Register Your Event

If you’re planning a National Cancer Survivors Day® celebration for your community, be sure you register your event with the National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation at ncsd.org/registration.

Once you register, you’ll gain access to the exclusive NCSD Speakers Bureau Roster (which has contact information for nationally recognized celebrities and keynote speakers), official NCSD logos, and other valuable resources. There is no cost or obligation when you register, but you must register with the Foundation each year to use the copyrighted National Cancer Survivors Day® name and logo.

Join Us for a Celebration of Cancer Survivorship

From its small beginnings as a grassroots survivorship movement in 1987, National Cancer Survivors Day® is now one of the largest cancer survivor events in the world. It is a day to celebrate how far we’ve come in cancer survivorship. But it is also a day to draw attention to the challenges cancer survivors still face, and to advocate for more resources, research, and legislation to improve cancer survivors’ quality of life.

Will you join us?

It’s not too late to plan your National Cancer Survivors Day® celebration for Sunday, June 4. If you have questions or need help, don’t hesitate to contact us at info@ncsd.org or give us a call at (615) 794-3006. As always, our services are free.
