National Cancer Survivors Day® is a poignant, inspiring Celebration of Life for anyone who has been touched by cancer. Now in its 37th year, NCSD is one of the largest cancer survivor events in the world.
Held each year on the first Sunday in June, National Cancer Survivors Day® is a day for all of us to join in solidarity with cancer survivors around the world. Tens of thousands of people will gather in cities across the globe to recognize cancer survivors, raise awareness of the ongoing challenges cancer survivors face, and – most importantly – celebrate life.

Tips Planning Your National Cancer Survivors Day® Celebration
The National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation has everything you need to organize an NCSD celebration in your community. And it’s all freely available.
Here are some tips to help you get started.
- Register your event. Register your NCSD event online at ncsd.org/register to gain access to the exclusive NCSD Speakers Bureau Roster (which has contact information for nationally recognized celebrities and public speakers available for NCSD events), as well as other valuable resources. There is no cost to register, but you must register your event each year to use the copyrighted National Cancer Survivors Day® name and logo.
- Check out NCSD.org for theme ideas. Planning your event around a theme is guaranteed to make your celebration fun and memorable. Check out our NCSD Themes page, as well as the Survivors Day blog, for a ton of creative theme ideas.
- Order NCSD t-shirts and keepsakes. Give cancer survivors attending your event something to remember it with official NCSD keepsakes, available for purchase in the NCSD Merchandise Catalog.
